The past few months' work has resulted in a crop of covers (from The Kinks, The Replacements, and The Ramones), a batch of polished live recordings from a recent show at The Fire, and a few new originals. But the band has been itching to bring their sound back in front of an audience.
The group includes members of the seminal underground collective Grubstake, that was headquartered in Boston and Philly over a 15 year period, before that effort broke up. The new enterprise is focused on a violin powered vein of melodic punk akin to The Velvet Underground and Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds.
The event kicks up at 7pm. RSVP to the event.
